You and the kids can then create their handprints in a easy and clean soft clay mold. Once you are happy with the results just set out to dry and send back to me. I will then transfer to ceramic clay to be kiln fired twice t a glass like finish.

Size of this listing plaque is 6.5 inches diameter. Check size of child's hand to fit with writing included around border. I suggest up to age 4 or 5 yrs for oldest sibling and the best result is for at least 3 yr gap between the ages or more so largest hand shows up behind baby’s hand

Shipping includes shipping mold and final piece. You will be responsible for shipping back mold. Approximately 10 weeks from time I receive mold back.

Please include name and ages in months in buyers notes when purchasing and colors can be found in extra pictures. Colors in first photo is tearose(baby) and miami pink. Colors used in second listing is parchment (Large hand) and baby hand is natural color of ceramic clay. I also used a antique in creases that works best with light colors only. writing styles in first picture is small capital stamp and second photo basic etch capital and lower case

How I begin

I have worked hard to create the perfect mold to capture and create all the detail in the child’s hand and footprint. Once your have placed an order, a mold will be sent out 1 to 3 days after. Easy instructions are sent to make the perfect print. When finishing this process, you will then ship the mold back with your order form naming your choice of shape, color and writing style. Once I receive the handprints, I transfer it to ceramic in a way that allows it to keep its detail. After the initial kiln bisque firing, glaze of your choice is painted and the plaque is kiln fired again. The process in whole takes approximately 8- 10 weeks after I receive mold back. Much time is due to transferring, etching, detailing, drying, cleaning, kiln firing twice, glaze painting and finishing with writing baby information on back, adding ribbon and securely packaging up to be sent out.
